    5. Images You Upload and Automated Content Moderation

    Some of our tools let you upload an image. How that image is handled depends on the tool. Several tools — including our Lithophane Generator, String Art 3D and 3D Building Editor — process your image entirely inside your own browser; those images are never transmitted to us and we never receive or store them.

    Where a tool does send your image to our servers, such as Image to 3D, the following applies:

  • Automated screening. Before your image is stored or processed, we send a reduced-size copy to automated content-moderation services to check it against the prohibited-content rules in our Terms of Use. We currently use Replicate, Inc. for this screening, which includes an image-classification model and, where a first-pass check flags an image, a review step using an Anthropic Claude model hosted by Replicate.
  • Rejected images are not kept. If an image is rejected, it is discarded. It is not written to our image storage, is not given a shareable link, and is not passed on to our 3D generation provider.
  • Accepted images. If an image passes screening, we strip its embedded metadata — including any EXIF location data your camera or phone may have recorded — and store the image with our media host, Cloudinary, so that it can be converted into a 3D model. Generating the model also sends the image to Replicate.
  • Moderation records. We keep a record of each moderation decision. This record contains the outcome, the reason, the file name, size and type, and the account that submitted it. It does not contain the rejected image itself. We retain these records to enforce our Terms, to prevent abuse, and to demonstrate compliance to our payment providers and regulators.

    • Automated screening is a legitimate-interest processing activity carried out to keep the service lawful and safe. It does not produce legal effects concerning you, and a human will review the decision on request. If you believe an image was rejected in error, or you would like a moderation record relating to your account deleted, contact us at info@vega3d.com.

    6. Data Security

    We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

    8. Childrens Privacy
